Sunday mornings Landon, Jocelynne and I like to take a walk around the neighborhood and reflect on the last week and then plan the next one. Because it has been in the low 30s lately, Jocelynne has sported her pink bear outfit the last couple of Sundays. Despite the look on her face, she likes it.She also likes the walker that she got from Aunt Ness. On the lowest (to the ground) setting, Jocelynne can barely touch the ground with her tip-toes. She leans forward so her face is almost in the tray so that she can make contact with the floor. I put her in the walker a few days ago while I made dinner. I set her at the opposite end of the kitchen and proceeded to chop vegetables. Then I got busy doing dishes. After about 20 minutes, I turned to find her practically at my feet. She'd somehow tip-toed her way across the kitchen. It took 20 minutes, but she did it!

She laughs frequently now. She likes high-pitched, funny noises and she likes to be tickled on her belly when she's getting a diaper change. She usually smiles after she sneezes, too. I'm not sure if she likes the sneeze or if she likes the high-pitched "bless you" I reward her with.
She might get to go birding for her first time this weekend. Landon is going to the Saint George Bird Festival and Jocelynne and I are thinking about tagging along.
Another first for her will be her dinner tomorrow. She turns four months old and we're going to celebrate with her first solid: rice cereal. It'll be fun to watch her make faces and push it out with her tongue.
