Fishy-face

Photos: Flower child; Playing with rings; Recycled overalls (they used to be mine when I was a baby)

Jocelynne is making everyone laugh with her fish-face. She sucks her cheeks in and purses her lips while looking intently at the recipient of her attentions. She still loves Peek-a-boo and is walking confidently now. I haven't seen her crawl in a couple of weeks. Her new passion is socks. She'll get them from laundry piles or from our shoes in the front room and carry them with her around the house. She'll have Soft Friend (her pink bear-blankie) in one hand and a couple of socks in the other as she toddles around.

Garrett left this week for Idaho, and Landon is missing his companionship. Just him and the girls again! We're going to an open house for Sharon tomorrow night, the midwife who delivered Jocelynne. She has terminal breast cancer, and will be sorely missed. I'm sure she'll love tomorrow night, beind surrounded by lots of babies that she brought into the world.
