It was funny to watch Jocelynne try to pick stuff up with mittens on when she was in her flower costume! She had a good time on Halloween, staring at all of the weird-looking people. Landon took her around at the Trunk-or-Treat and got us some candy. :) I won the scariest costume award. Darth Maul wasn't really my kind of costume, but it is what I chose by default - we had the costume and I wasn't feeling creative. Jocelynne ate a lot of chili at the cook-off that night and had a blow-out at the babysitters the next day.
Landon got promoted to staff sergeant at drill this week. That means he gets a little extra responsibility and about $32 more a month. He passed the French test again this year, missing 1 question in about 130. We're hoping that Jocelynne is taking a while to say any words because she's picking up on some of Landon's French. Apparently it takes longer for babies to speak if they're learning 2 languages.
Jocelynne's newest tricks are Happy Shoulders (just like her namesake, Melissa) and clucking her tongue. She stopped doing fishy face, though.
