Happy Mother's Day, all you mothers. Hope you got breakfast in bed. Jocelynne slept in today until 7:45, so that was her gift to me.
We started up the swamp cooler this week. It's hot! Especially with this little heat-generating baby in my uterus. I also planted the flowers in front of our yard. While Joss and I were out there planting, a baby raccoon fell out of the tree the side of our driveway. Jocelynne kept calling it "cat" and I had to keep her away from it. That was easy once I turned on the drip system sprinklers. She had a great time playing in the water.
Landon slaughtered the pheasants last week. This week he's going on a birding marathon from 6 AM to 10 PM. I'll be 30 weeks pregnant tomorrow. 10 more to go!
