Pictures: Chloe up close; Mom and Dad meet Chloe
Our first week as a family of 4 has gone without mishap, besides a gash on Chloe's cheek from Joss' nail. Jocelynne gives Chloe lots of hugs and kisses, most of them gentle enough. She has felt some jealousy, as manifested by her efforts to push Chloe off of my lap and to scratch her face, but these moments are infrequent and pass quickly.
Susan has been taking care of us, doing the shopping and cooking and taking care of Jocelynne. It's going to be a shock when she leaves us on Tuesday. I feel like I spend so much time nursing, burping, and changing the baby that I won't have time to return to "normal" life.
Chloe lost her umbilical cord stump last night. Joss learned lots of new words this week, including "armpit" and the French word for "sister".
