We got home from Lake Elsinore at 2 AM. The girls went to bed a tad early tonight, and Landon and I are even going to skip our weekly Settlers of Catan game to catch up on our sleep. We had a wonderful vacation with the Joneses.

We went to Knott's Berry Farm one day, and Jocelynne had a great time. She liked the carousel and the cars. When I tried to pry her out of the lame car ride (slow and steady), she bit my neck and then fell on the pavement in a spasm of fury. She didn't understand that one has to wait in line between each turn on the rides. The other car ride we went on was faster, especially around the corners. Midway through the ride, she started throwing her hands up in the air and screaming around the corners. The first time she tried this, her body was thrown against mine on the turn and she was a little shaken. But it didn't stop her from letting go again the next time! She loved it.

At Nona's house, Joss liked the slides in the park and she liked to look at the "big water" (her name for the pool). Chloe liked it when I stopped eating dairy products and had a good vacation, too. Her fussiness has lessened and her stools are returning to normal. I enjoyed a couple of good books for my vacation, and Landon did some shopping and kayaking.
