The girls and I are home from church today. Chloe joined in the coughing chorus last night and I have lost my voice. Landon will have to represent the Joneses. As long as Joss has her binky, Soft Friend, and videos, she's a happy camper. Right now she's playing with some washable markers Grandma gave her. Thank goodness they wash out, because her body and high chair tray are tattooed beyond recognition by the time her art session ends. Joss' favorite sayings this week during meal time were "it's for you" and "you eat it" (said to me when I tried to feed her).
It snowed a lot yesterday. At 11:00 last night, I heard a limb crash down from our Japanese Lantern tree. It missed Landon's car by about 2 feet. It's really beautiful outside because the fluffy white snow hasn't turned icy and brown yet.
Chloe is waking up happy now much of the time. It's fun to walk in to check on her and see her turtle neck craning up, trying to catch a glimpse of me over the edge of the bassinet.
