Tristan holds 5-month-old Tadhg, who is about the same size as he is. I love the matchy-matchy going on.

Logan has developed the quirky habit of sleeping on the floor. Here he is surrounded by his comforts: the iPad, his blankies, and his Halloween glow stick from Nonna.

Joss about to take the plunge. She was so excited to be baptized.
Making Halloween cupcakes with Nonna.
Poor Nonna always has to cram herself between two carseats in the back. And before you judge me, I DO offer her the front.
Chloe is just learning to read and write, and she loves the new world it has opened up to her. She saw Joss writing in her baptismal journal, so Chloe wanted to write her feelings too.
Awwwww.
I sometimes hide the iPad from Logan. Otherwise, as you can see, it goes with him everywhere. (Becca and Sari, put down the Clorox wipes. It's just a picture.)
Logan has his first best friend: Damon. They played together tonight, but the evening had to end when Damon soiled his pants and Logan hit him in the head with a block. Not to worry, they're still "besties". Logan's newest phrase this week is "How dare you!" He even uses it in the correct context sometimes.
Joss and Chloe are improving in school! There were no D's or F's in last weeks test grades -- quite a few A's, in fact. They're catching up, and I am blissfully grateful. That means homework doesn't take 3 hours anymore. We're down to 2.5 hours. It'll probably get shorter as year progresses.
Tristan is still enjoying his preschool. It was my week to teach, and the first day went great. The second day it seemed like the toddlers were in charge. My stint as preschool instructor ended in tears when Tristan wasn't happy with the Jack-O-Lanterns we were making out of paper. He demanded that the eyes, nose, and mouth ALL be constructed out of circles, but then rejected the circles I cut out for him because none of them were scary enough. I still haven't figured out how to make a scary circle. It's such a happy shape.

it's all in the eyebrows. Will he let you make eyebrows? They can turn even happy shapes scary. Love your blog and how you write. Huh, your Live Traffic Feed says I'm from Camas, WA. I've never been there, but I'll have to go now!
