We couldn't pass up Star Wars Story Time at the library, and had plenty of costumes to go around. I coaxed Logan into some pants before we left.
The kids got to dress up for lots of parties this year. This is the school Boo Bash day for kids with good behavior. The girls are wearing their native Costa Rica dance costumes.

I took the girls to Super Saturday (craft day at the church) this year, and they loved making the homemade Christmas gifts. We brought some home for Jocelynne to finish up.
Another place we do crafts is at the library. They have all the supplies, the staff, the ideas, and the mess!
Logan and I attended Tristan's "Nursery Rhyme Day" at his kindergarten. Tristan dressed up as a king, wearing a paper crown that Jocelynne made for him the night before because I was too busy painting doors (Logan has a tendency to throw toys at them and chip the paint). Tristan recited "Jack be Nimble" and "Sing a Song of Sixpence" without a glitch. But I was even prouder when he unwrapped Logan's muffin for him, without being asked, after the performance. Had to catch the moment.

Another fall photo.
Having such fun!
Less fun by the 50th photo.
I told Logan and Kayla to stick their heads through the holes. Nailed it, as Sari would say.
Last photo. Sari, I have a newfound respect for you and your profession.
We had our annual primary program last month. Joss refuses to speak her part every year, so this year she just had to hold up a picture of John the Baptist baptizing Jesus. Tristan and Chloe made up for her reticence, however. They say their parts and sing with gusto, verging on yelling. Wanting to have a teaching moment with my son, I asked Tristan if he was singing so loudly to be the best or to show God his love. He replied honestly, “Both, Mom. Well, mostly for the candy.”
