Tristan was baptized on March 3rd. He's our first to not require a re-do; in fact, Landon was so determined to get that first dunk right that he held him down for a second longer than Tristan was comfortable with. He came up sputtering and coughing, and brought it up several times with his father in the changing room. Nonna was able to visit from California and give the talk on the Holy Ghost.
The girls performed Tristan's favorite song at the baptism: "Praise to the Man." Their voices blended nicely, and Joss played the guitar for accompaniment.
Our handsome 8-year-old, right before the baptism.
These two have a wonderful relationship. At least they did in this photo, before Landon tried to drown him.
Within a couple hours of a morning bath. Back in the tub he goes!
Chloe found something hard in her oatmeal. I thought it might be a rock, but turns out it was a filling. My oatmeal must be pretty tough on teeth! Anyway, this was her smile after the dental repair.

The kids pick up Dane from the nursery and then congregate in the gym after church. My primary responsibilities keep me tied up for a few minutes, and Chatty Cathy Landon is usually fellowshipping. So they've learned to entertain themselves until we come get them.
These kids love their dad. By the time Landon gets home at night, he's usually exhausted and lies down on the floor. The kids take the opportunity to play "Stuffy", a game in which they crawl all over him and try to wake him up.

I've tried several types of cups for this little guy, but he's not impressed. Mom is still his favorite sippy.
Construction on our house started today! Today - 3 months and 3 days after the accident - we could hear the lovely sounds of banging and sawing coming from our house next door. The new A/C unit and furnace were installed today, and tomorrow the electrician is coming to assess the scope of his job.
After several lab tests to diagnose a lump on Dane's skull, we visited a pediatric neurosurgeon on Monday. He needs to get a CT done (with an I.V. Ugh.) in a couple of weeks, after which we'll schedule a surgery to excise the lump. The good news is the surgeon is pretty sure it's just a dermoid (a pocket of trapped skin cells). It's located on his left temple, so we'll probably opt for surgery rather than let it grow and mar his handsome little face.
While Nonna was here, she challenged the girls to stop biting their nails. She gave them jars to fill with cotton balls, each cotton ball representing half a day without biting. The girls have finally filled their jars to earn their professional manicures. Habit broken! Thanks, Nonna.
