Wiggle Worm

I got Landon good yesterday. I saw him go into the shower, so I followed him in about 5 minutes to primp before church. I knocked timidly on the door before walking into the bathroom. Now, you need to understand that we have another couple living with us in our house in order for this to be funny. In my best Cynthia voice, I questioned, "Xavier?" From behind the shower curtain I heard a nervous chuckle, "No!" To get him really worried, I pretended like I didn't believe it wasn't Xavier and I pawed at the shower curtain. "Hey!" Landon exclaimed. I then opened the curtain all of the way and laughed hysterically at Landon's yelp and his dash to cover himself.

Jocelynne has learned how to get halfway out of her carseat. I like to put her in the seat and carry her around the house where I'm doing chores. Yesterday I noticed that she was pretty low in the seat, and I boosted her back to the top. This happened a few times. Then one time I caught her doing the wiggle worm, working her bottom out of the seat toward the floor. I guess I'll have to strap her in next time or just use her bouncer.

We took her to see the Chronicles of Narnia on Friday. Her second movie! (The first was Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.) She loves to watch the dancing light on the big screen. If she's not asleep, she likes to be on my lap, facing the action. She likes to be in the thick of things. Because her dad and I usually go to bed around midnight, that's when she goes to bed. I have tried putting her down earlier without results.
