Jocelynne and I have learned that she can't take a nap with damp hair. When it dries it looks pretty freakish. Somehow she still manages to look adorable, however. People love Jocelynne's hair. I have to wash it at least every other day because it gets oily from people's hands. The baby-soft shocks of hair that stand to attention all over her head just beg to be smoothed down by her parents, friends, and even strangers.
Jocelynne's new development for the week is that she's starting to play with toys. She can't grab most of them yet, but after intense concentration she can at least bat around the toys that I put in the tray of her walker. She also likes to look at screens - movie screens, our t.v. screen, and this computer screen - which is nice because she is entertained while I type. I just hope that she doesn't become a t.v. or internet addict.
Landon had his first day of school yesterday and came home smiling. He says school is going to be fun this semester. He is the teacher's assistant for ornithology now and is excited to convert some BYU students into true birders.
I passed the nurse practitioner exam last month and only have to wait for my license to come in the mail. I don't know what I'll possibly do with it, though, seeing as I have a full time job at home already. :) I guess she got sick of staring at the screen. She's asleep.
