P is for Pig

Every week day Joss is allowed to watch Super Readers and Sesame Street. I wasn't sure if she was actually picking up on the academic part of the programs or was simply entertained until we were at the park this week. Before whooshing down the slide, she paused and blurted out, "P is for pig!"

Chloe is still getting into everything, eating the soil around our house plant, and changing our audio settings on the receiver. During a routine mouth-sweep I pulled out a gigantic spider leg. I let out a yelp before discovering that there was nothing connected to it. She says "mama" and "dada" and "uh-oh" and "uh-uh". I've tried reading to her to improve her language skills, but she seems to be more physical than verbal and ripped Goodnight Moon in half.

I have felt the fetus moving this last week. It's so fun to feel the little fluttering, before the creature gets strong enough to swing on my ribs. Landon had a job interview on the phone this morning, and we're hoping he gets this one. It's our favorite so far. (But WHO does an interview over the phone on a Sunday morning -- in UTAH?! We thought that was kinda strange. And he called 20 minutes before church started.)
