Tristan fell four times today. I just felt like I had to confess that right off the bat. Once off of the window seat, once off of the couch, once off of the table, once off of a chair. Bad Mom award to me. Now he has a purple egg on his forehead, next to a large mosquito bite.
Despite his brain damage, he's learning new things: how to wave, use a fork, play peekaboo and give very open-mouthed and wet kisses.
Joss and Chloe have been sharing a toddler bed lately. I hear them talking and giggling long after 8:30 when the lights turn out. I'm glad they're enjoying each other. Also, I get to sleep about half hour longer in the morning this way. That's GOLD.
Joss decided that she wants to be a music conductor when she grows up. Chloe wants to grow up to be Belle. I've been teaching Joss some simple songs on the piano, and she's got a good ear. To help Chloe pursue her dream, I let her dress up in yellow ball gowns and hold books.
We had a great time when Nonna came to visit last week. We went to the swamp and saw alligators, turtles, and Chloe even spotted a water snake.
