We all enjoyed Nonna's visit this past week. We slept later than usual and let our belts out a couple of notches as we patronized bakeries and restaurants galore. It was, unfortunately, time for my glucose tolerance test this week. I managed to eke by without being labeled diabetic, but one more beignet would've pushed me over the edge.
Tristan's making headway with potty training and can keep his diaper dry when he's offered enough candy. The girls encourage him because they get candy when he tinkles in the toilet. I thought a little peer pressure might be helpful.
I'm afraid Chloe might be giving up naps soon. She keeps complaining that she "doesn't know how to sleep" and her "eyes won't stay closed." On the bright side, Tristan is consistently sleeping through the night. That only took 2 years!
Landon's waiting to hear back from all the grants and fellowships he applied for during the last few months. He's also finishing up classes this month and preparing for written and oral comps. On top of all that I make him do pesky chores like rake leaves and take out the garbage. He's a busy man.
I'm not doing much except expanding. The baby (A.K.A. "He Who Must Not Be Named") squirms and kicks plenty. I like to think he's exercising for both of us.
