We had pizza for dinner tonight, as Landon is in Nauvoo with the youth and I didn't feel like making a meal. Joss asked where pepperoni came from, and I answered that I thought it came from either a pig or a cow. Joss replied confidently, "A pig. Because milk comes from cows." Then Chloe joined in, "And chicken comes from cows." When I explained that chicken comes from chickens, Chloe said, "Yes. Milk comes from cows, chicken comes from chickens, and pizza comes from ducks." Joss said in exasperation, "No, pizza comes from Chuck E. Cheese's!"
Tristan is finally starting to talk. He adds about a word a day now, although he's hard to understand and has to point and do sign language to get his point across most of the time. He likes to lift the lid of the diaper pail up and say, "Eew!" Tonight he peeked into the shower and caught me using my Netti pot. His face showed confusion, and then fascination, and then he pointed to his nose and laughed. He stripped down and ended up in the shower with me. Then of course, is was just a matter of time before the girls got a second bath as well.
Jocelynne was student of the month at her school for February. She was excited to say the Pledge of Allegiance in French in front of the school (on a school TV network). Chloe still "attends" her little pink school. It's hard to correct Chloe when the teacher of the little pink school says that I'm wrong. :) I think she'll be upset when she doesn't get to start school in the fall.

I can't believe how old Chloe looks in that top pic! These kids are growing up too fast!
