Pass the Turducken, Please

The girls enjoyed a classmate's birthday party and put on a fashion show for us at the end.

Joss and Chloe are good piano students. They won't practice on their own, but they're willing to have a piano lesson every school day. The candy at the end may be more motivating than their love of music now, but that will change.

The boys donning their "Aunt Sari caps", which miraculously seem to make super cute boys 10 times cuter.

Mica, my chef friend from New Orleans, with her daughter Alexis and my kids. Mica has a take out and catering business, and I like to baby-sit for food. Really good food.

My birthday. I'm older. Yipee.

Nonna came for Christmas -- as did Uncle Garrett -- and a good time was had by all. For Christmas we had shrimp, crawfish, alligator tail, and even turducken (a mix of turkey, duck, and chicken) sausage. A very Cajun Christmas.

I'm now first counsellor in the primary presidency. I'm just sorry everybody can't be in the primary -- it's that awesome. I love hearing my kids' answers during Sharing Time, and the lessons are fun and spiritual at the same time. Landon is still the secretary in the Young Men's presidency. He loves it there too.

Joss and Chloe just got report cards back. It looks like they are caught up with their classmates at last. Jocelynne won 4th place in AR points (a reading program) out of the whole 3rd grade! Both she and Chloe are in the C range for math, but between their reading skills and good looks, they should do fine in life. :)
