For Career Day at school, the kids had to plan their futures around what was in our dress-up box. So Joss is now slated to be a chef while Tristan will be a paleontologist/explorer. (Aunt Becky made that apron. Cute, huh?)
On top of the climbing wall at Gerard Park. Logan thinks he's too high up.
More park fun.

Landon took the kids to a Mardi Gras parade last week. The kids caught a lot of beads, and some nice drunk people gave them even more after the parade finished.
Tristan turns 6!

They have plenty of space, yet they sleep like sardines in a can.

19 weeks pregnant with a baby boy, Mini-Jones #5. All tests and ultrasound look good, and he's still on track to join the outside world in mid-July.
I had parent-teacher conferences this month and got to hear how wonderful my kids were from their teachers. Both Chloe and Tristan’s teacher remarked they wish they had a classroom full of kids like them. Chloe, however, has a hard time not chatting with her desk mates and has deplorable handwriting. Instead of letting this get her down, however, Chloe procured a handwriting practice book that she studies at night--consistently and on her own volition. I'm super proud of her growth-minded gumption.
Joss would rather read in class than do math--which I completely understand--and it upsets her teacher. She is in the middle of reading Harry Potter 7 and was celebrated as the most prolific reader of the 4th grade at her school! Because her name was announced over the P.A. system for this accomplishment, she insists she is now famous and gets admiring stares from the 1st and 2nd graders.

Congrats on a boy, a chatty, self-directed girl, and a famously good reader.
