Tristan made his own abridged copy of the Book of Mormon, which I will copy here because I love it: "(title page) Book of Mormon, for Tristan." The Lord Jesus Christ. The prophet Joseph Smith. Lehi discovers the Liahona, Samuel the Lamanite prophesies. Jesus Christ visits the Americas. Mormon buries. . . ." And that's the end.

Little Blonde Buddies.
I pay the kids $1 for every bag of leaves they fill. Logan filled a bag this morning because he wants to get a frozen yogurt at Sam's Club today. I'm impressed with his perseverance in completing the task alone.
Dane likes to be outside with the kids, where he can watch all the action.

The kids made a pinata for Tristan's birthday.

Logan plays hard at playgroup every week and then gets awfully quiet on the drive home. Landon wonders how he will go a whole day at kindergarten this fall without his usual afternoon nap.

Tristan turned 7! We had friends over for pizza and donuts.
Logan spends every Thursday with his best friend Damon. He calls it "Damon Day."

I read to Tristan's class last Friday for Dr. Seuss day. Despite his cat face and cute antics, Logan did not garner the attention from the big kids that he is used to. It was Baby Dane they wanted to watch and listen to, not a Dr. Seuss book.

The girls wore curlers to bed, which I find as comfortable as sleeping on a pillowcase filled with rocks. But the end result is cute.

They look as different as night and day, but there's no doubt that these two girls are sisters!
Dane refuses to eat baby food, but he managed to make a large crust of pizza disappear today at Sam's Club. I gave it to him to gnaw on to relieve his achy gums. He isn't sleeping well, and Landon has had it! He texted me from school today, explaining that he will go to any lengths to get the baby out of our room. So I get to break the news to the girls today: they will be moving in with the boys! Young Sir will finally be getting his own royal chambers.
