Finn and I hiking at Turkey Run State Park. I told the Beehives I was chaperoning that we should choose an easy hike, but instead we ended up climbing up waterfalls and walking on logs. It was beautiful. More importantly, I managed to not drop Finn.
My little shoppers. Dane loves Walmart because he gets a corndog from the deli at the beginning of each shopping trip. It keeps him happy for a long time. Finn is content to just sit there and look at everything. He really might be the best baby in the world.
Tristan is always helpful, but he needs some baby-holding lessons.
Jocelynne and I went to see The Tattooed Mormon (Al Carroway) speak at the stake center. Joss really enjoyed her conversion story.
Joss with her guitar, a common sight in our house. Although she misses her guitar class in Louisiana, she says private lessons help her progress much faster.
Finn needed a passport for our trip to New Zealand coming up. I probably spent 2 hours trying to get him looking straight ahead against a light background, eyes open, mouth closed, no shadows. This is the best I got. Still not good enough. The post office lady ended up getting a good photo on the first try.
Dane loves being "Captain Underpants."
Logan, wearing his class T-shirt and hamming it up, as always.
Dress up.
I like how his undies match his hat.
Our first snow took us by surprise. It's going to be a long, cold winter. My friend sent me an excited, "It's snowing!" text. I replied with a poop emoji / frowny face. Time to get out the fuzzy pajamas.
And, in other news, I finally went to the school last week and got the office to help Jocelynne open her locker. I figured if she hadn't found the courage to speak up after 2 months, it was never gonna happen.
