Mischief

Jocelynne is fairly mobile now. She scoots and rolls and pivots and thoroughly enjoys this newfound freedom. It's fun to watch. She's able to get into a lot more mischief, scooting from one forbidden object to the next. She's gummed videos, shoes, newspaper (she had grey/black ink all around her mouth) and some old fish wrapping she got out of the garbage.

She's tried a couple more foods: prunes, zucchini, and sweet potato. She didn't like the prunes, but she loved the vegetables. Feeding time isn't nearly as messy as it used to be, as she's learned how to push food to the back of her mouth and swallow more efficiently. It still gets messy when she grabs the spoon or the bowl of food, however. It's amazing how fast her little hands can be!

Landon is busy looking for a summer job and beating us all at Settlers of Catan. He takes Jocelynne to feed the ducks almost every week -- they got rained on last time. I'm only working 2 days this month (hooray!), so I'll have lots of time to sit at home and watch soaps (if only we got any channels).
