I haven't slept well in a couple of weeks. The first week of bad sleep was due to Jocelynne's antics when she slept next to me in bed. Sometimes she'd kick me, other times she'd just roll too close for comfort and her hair would tickle my nose. Most of the time she just wanted to eat every 3 hours because I was so readily available. The next week was just as bad because I kicked her out of bed and she didn't like it. She's slept in her crib for 5 nights in a row now! The first 3 days I slept next to her crib on the floor. I'd have to sing her to sleep 3-4 times during the night. She woke up 5 times last night, but mostly I just had to put the pacifier in her mouth, stroke her forehead, and she was back to sleep. We'll see how next week goes.
Jocelynne really looks forward to meal time now. When she sees me bring the baby food near her, she opens her mouth wide, smacks her lips together and clucks her tongue. We tried pears this week and reintroduced bananas. She makes the prune face when I feed her pears.
Landon is finishing up his last 2 weeks of school, and we don't know yet what his summer looks like after that. He's going to Texas with the military either in May or in July, so Jocelynne and I will visit Yuba City at that time. We're excited.
