playing with Daddy (who looks a bit grumpy), Black Fang, happy baby.

Jocelynne has attended two birthday parties this weekend! (Both of the birthday babies were turning one). It's strange to think that Jocelynne will be a year old next month. Landon wouldn't let her eat any of the cookies or Rice Krispy treats, but she had fun anyway playing with the other babies' toys. She can toddle a few steps before she falls down, but she still prefers crawling. Her newest intellectual development is being able to stack things inside each other. She likes to put the smaller play buckets in the bigger ones. She can also recognize the signs for milk and eat. She'll spit out her binkie and crawl to me for the promised reward after I sign to her.
Landon is starting to put more time into his thesis. We're also working on dissolving the paint on the exterior of our house to uncover the brick. We decided painting over brick is a dumb idea. But if dissolving the paint layer takes too much time, we'll probably rethink that.
I've been enjoying working my one day a week and playing with Jocelynne the rest of the time. I've also found that my calling has been fun because I have an excuse to get to know the women in the ward.
