Return to Utah

Pictures: Examining Grandpa, Jocelynne and Rubber Duckie, helping to unpack, Aunt Becky gives Joss a cool new look, playing with Grandma.

Jocelynne had a great time at Grandma and Grandpa's house this last month. She got to spend lots of time with her adoring aunts and enjoyed being spoiled by Grandma. She even st0pped being so wary of Grandpa and let him hold her by the end of the trip. :) While in Yuba City she worked hard on learning to walk and is now quite proficient at staying upright. She walks more than she crawls. She also learned how to make spitting noises with her mouth (I think Grandpa taught her that) and loves to practice. Her first tooth is out now, and a second is trying to break through the gums right next to it. Jocelynne kept grabbing my toothbrush tonight, so I finally got her one of her own. She spit out her pacifier and decided that brushing her tooth was a lark. She howled when I tried to put the toothbrush away.

Landon and I enjoyed ourselves in Puerto Rico. Our favorite activities were visiting a bioluminescence bay and the rain forest. Reading on the beach ranked pretty high for me, too.

Landon will get back from Africa next Monday. In the meantime, it's just Jocelynne and me at home. We've been going for walks, visiting people, and playing. It'll be nice to have Landon back.
