Jocelynne's going through a nude stage. The last couple of nights I've walked in to see her asleep in her crib, stretched out and buck naked. I've had to reapply her diaper at odd times like midnight, 3AM, 5AM, not wanting her to wake up in a puddle. I've decided to use this stage to my advantage. At first, I just said things like, "Joss, you're not wearing a diaper. Remember that we don't pee on the carpet." But then she'd just go onto the wood or tile floor and squat. But now, instead of mentioning the bodily function, I just say, "Joss, is it time for a gummy bear?" Those sit in a jar on top of the toilet. She knows there's only one way to get one, so she'll run into the bathroom and do her thing.
Chloe is going through another fussy stage. I think it's because my milk supply is decreasing and she needs to nurse more often. This makes her nervous when I am out of sight, and she whimpers and starts searching the house for me. She also has a runny nose and may be teething again. Her accomplishment this week is her ability to wave "bye-bye".
Landon's been on cloud nine today because he finished his redneck job yesterday. No more sleeping in trucks and not showering for 5 days at a time! He's excited to be home with his family for a long weekend before heading to Costa Rica on Tuesday.
