Pictures: Chloe with Sippy Cup; Halloween Party (Cat in the Hat, South African outfit, ladybug, and witch); Cute Witch
We had a great Halloween here. The weather was mild (60s) and the girls enjoyed the Trunk or Treat at the church parking lot. Landon and I were slightly disappointed with Jocelynne's earnings, but the thought that we can send both girls around next year was consoling. :)
Landon and I are spending the bulk of our time nowadays researching graduate schools for next year, finding a job, and planning our Italy trip. I've also spend plenty of time in the kitchen this last week canning applesauce and making fruit leather. Jocelynne has helped with the applesauce by turning the handle on the food strainer or putting apples in the blender. She loves to help in the kitchen! Chloe likes the kitchen, too, as long as she can sit on the counter and throw all of the spices on the floor. I've finally learned to put the glass containers in the cupboard.
Chloe's new words are "Papa" and "baaa". Jocelynne is learning her letters well and can accurately tell you what letter a (simple) word starts with most of the time. Last week she proudly stated, "Aunt Sari starts with an "S"." (No offense to the other aunts - she just likes "s" the best.)
