Landon and Logan

Landon takes a break while searching for a lost transmitter in the jungle across the river.



Toucans aren't the only birds captured by Landon's nets. Here is a Montezuma Oropendola that got ensnared last week. If you could check under it's talons, you'd find lots of Landon's skin cells.



A Ferruginous Pygmy-Owl also flew into the net last week, making the trappers' day. It's so cute.



Maria Eugenia with Logan. Whenever she gets a chance, she's cuddling with him or feeding him. I think Logan's the reason she agreed to take the job. I call her "Hennia" because I can't say her name (Pronounced Maria Ay-you-hennia) without stumbling over my tongue. The kids all call her "Mariohennia". Yes, "Mario" like their Uncle Mario.
