I don't know how Chloe stands it.

Looks like he fell asleep praying again.

Logan is obsessed with the iPad and screams "iPad! iPad!" whenever someone takes it away from him. He likes it almost as much as sticks and rocks.

My friends Jamie and Thad Garlick came to visit! We had a fabulous time catching up and exploring Turrialba together. Meanwhile, they discovered the true meaning of "hot and humid" when they visited the coast. Tristan was fascinated with Jamie, and asked within an hour of meeting her, "Will you sleep with me?" When that didn't work, he sat down at the table and asked, "Will you eat with me?"

Tristan doing his studying on the iPad.

Landon spent much of his time lately in San Jose at a toucan rescue ranch, feeding the birds different kinds of fruits and determining expulsion rates of the seeds (most commonly through regurgitation but sometimes the other way). It ties into his project somehow -- don't ask me specifics. But I sure love those cute little toucans. :)

Landon and his team trap the next participant in his study. Next the bird will be measured and weighed, a colored band will be added to his leg and a transmitter fastened around the body. Big brother WILL be watching him. For another two months, anyway.
Logan's getting to be a great parrot. I sometimes hear him explode, "Darn it!" We took the wheels off of Tristan's bike, and after I put my tools away I came out and said, "Ok, Tristan. Now I'll teach you how to ride without training wheels." He replied, "It's ok, I already know how." I thought there'd be a painful lesson ahead but, to my amazement, once Tristan started pedaling he was gone. He rode around the park and came back home, then got off the bike and came inside like it was no big deal.

Hey, I know that Garlick lady! So fun to have friends come and visit you. Maybe Jamie would have shared Tristan's bed if he had been riding without training wheels. Ladies always like to be impressed, no? that's why you married Landon. :)
